"Belonging By Grace" New Member Course

Have you been thinking about becoming a member of Our Savior? Are you at a point of wanting to know more about what Lutherans believe and teach?  Then Belonging by Grace is for you.

Pastor Goldberger is leading this 12-session study on the fundamental teachings of the Bible and how they are applied in our local setting.  You will have the opportunity to learn about the mission and vision of Our Savior, understand more about the Christian faith and our uniqueness as Lutherans, and probe your own relationship with Jesus Christ.

The course is open to ANYONE and everyone. It is designed particularly for those whose background is something other than Lutheran and those who have no church background.  There is no obligation to join Our Savior, but you will have completed the prerequisite for membership, and will be warmly invited to become a partner in ministry with us.

Belonging by Grace is meeting on Sunday mornings during the regular Sunday School hour, 9:45-10:45, in the Sanctuary.

There are no fees, no quizzes, and free child care and Sunday School is provided at the church.  If you are interested in registering for Belonging by Grace, please call the church office at 332-5141, or email, admin@oursaviorbett.org.  Questions?  Contact Pastor Jack at pastorgoldberger@oursaviorbett.org.

Monday Night Bible Study: ISAIAH’S CAP

Have you wondered why a loving God of the Old Testament would permit His chosen nation to be destroyed? Why would God choose Abraham and his descendants as his chosen people and then permit the Assyrians and ultimately the Babylonians to destroy both the nation and the temple, His sacred worship site? We will be studying the book of Isaiah to help answer these questions.  Specifically we will see that God did not destroy His chosen people, but retained a remnant of people to be His own. We will use “ISAIAH’S CAP” as an acronym to learn what God’s plan was for His chosen people … and ultimately His plan for our salvation, His chosen people. You are invited to attend the Monday Night Bible Study, starting Monday, September 13th from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the Church Library.
