SUMMARY:"The Witness Practice"
DESCRIPTION:New Sunday Bible Study\nDates 4/19/2026 – 5/17/2026 (5 weeks)
\nRoom A200\, led by Pastor Gary Timm\n\nThere is an unspoken rule we all
intuitively live by: good news is meant to be\nshared. Whether it’s news
of landing a new job\, getting into the college we\nwanted\, or discoveri
ng an incredible restaurant — we naturally want to share it\nwith others
.\nYet\, for many of us\, this isn't always our experience with our own fa
ith. We\nconfuse being a witness with evangelism and think we’re asked t
o do something\nbeyond ourselves. At the same time\, we are bombarded with
signals from our\nsurrounding culture to “keep our beliefs to ourselves
.” This can lead to a very\nprivate way of following Jesus that\, in bel
ief\, is “good news for all people\,” but in\npractice\, just becomes
“good news for me.”\nJohn Mark Comer has created a Bible Study “The
Witness Practice” on what it\nreally means to be a daily witness for Jes
 us. (Video based)
