Basic Needs
CareLink
We at Our Savior work in partnership with a number of community churches and the Bettendorf Police Department to provide financial assistance to people for a variety of needs, such as shelter, rent/deposit, utilities, and money. CareLink is a voucher-referral system coordinated through our church office and is available to members and non-members alike.
King’s Harvest Ministry
Our Savior works in partnership with King’s Harvest Outreach Ministry to the Poor in Davenport (kingsharvest.net). There are a variety of meaningful ways to volunteer your time and talents to bless the lives of the hungry and homeless right in our own community – preparing and serving meals, participating in grocery giveaway days, picking up and delivering food from local restaurants for meal preparation, serving in the clothing outlet, and volunteering in the shelter.
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.”
2 Corinthians 1:3-5
