Rev. Keith Piotter

Lead Pastor

Lisa and I married in St. Louis, MO, 1989, where I attended Concordia Seminary, graduating and becoming ordained in 1991. After almost five years in Texas as a vicar and associate pastor, we moved to Bettendorf where, ever since, I have been serving as pastor and literally hanging on! God has blessed us with four kids who have provided us with priceless, beautiful grandchildren. Today I have the joy of cheering on our team and congregation as Lead Pastor, proclaiming Christ and managing growth alongside a super staff. I wake up every morning excited to see the vision of God at work through the hearts and hands of a super group of folks called, Our Savior. Personally adopted Bible verse: 2 Corinthians 9:22b.

Rev. Gary Timm

Bio

I grew up in Cedar Rapids, IA attending Trinity Lutheran Church and Day School. When I was 23 years old, the LORD opened my heart and eyes and set my heart on fire for Jesus. I began sharing the Christian faith with anyone who would listen. In 1999, God led me to join The Apple of His Eye Mission Society (one of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod’s Jewish mission organizations) and God sent me to Queens, New York City to share the Good News that the Messiah of Israel has come and His name is Jesus, the Christ.

Just before I moved to Queens, NY, I met the love of my life, Dawn. We were married in St. Louis in December, 2000 and are blessed to have two grown children. Together we joyfully shared Jesus’ Gospel from the Hebrew Scriptures with ALL people (Jewish and Gentile alike). While serving in New York City, I received an Interdisciplinary BA in Jewish Evangelism from Concordia College, New York (2005). I then attended Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO and received a M. Div. (2010). Since then I have served as a sole-pastor for Gethsemane Lutheran Church in North Glenn, CO until 2015 and then again with Redeemer Lutheran Church in Westfield, NJ until 2023. Our family is blessed to be serving with the loving saints of Our Savior Lutheran Church and Preschool in Bettendorf, IA since January 2024.

I live to “Equip, empower, and encourage the Body of Christ to live Jesus’ unconditional love, forgiving grace, and promise of eternal life so that together, we can make Disciples of Christ Jesus.” Life verse: Eph. 4:11-16.

Eric Brei

Bio

I have been a DCE (Director of Christian Education) for 29 years and God confirms my call each day. I grew up in Muscatine. I graduated from Concordia University Chicago. That is where I met my wife, Traci. She teaches 4 yr olds in the OSLP. We have two sons, Trevor (24) and Dylan (20). We also have a Labrador Retriever, Boomer, and a Dogo Argentino, Bindi. My passion is developing authentic, Christ-centered relationships with families, and helping them to grow in their faith walk. Other things I enjoy doing are: watching sports, spending time outside and activities with my family. My favorite Scripture, which happens to be my confirmation verse is: John 15:5

Dalton Rau

Director of Youth Ministry

Bio

I am new to the Iowa area, having grown up in Bartlesville, Oklahoma! I began serving here at Our Savior in August of 2024. I studied at Concordia University Nebraska, which is where I met my wife Abigail Rau! She currently works at Caravel Autism Health out on Utica Ridge. We have two Australian Shepherds (Koda and Baloo) who love to run around and be crazy.

I grew up going to a small Lutheran Church where I was given unique opportunities to lead and serve in the youth and children’s ministries. These unique opportunities jump-started my passion for serving in the church, which is what led me to CUNE’s DCE program! I love to seek ways to give those same opportunities to our Tweens and Teens!

I look forward to getting the opportunity to get to know you and yours! I’ll leave this off with my Confirmation verse – Proverbs 18:10 “The Name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are saved.”

Jen Bullock

Director of Children’s Ministry

Bio

I have been a part of the Our Savior family in many ways since 1998. Joe and I were married by Pastor Keith in 1997 and we have two children. Using the Early Childhood / Elementary degree that I earned at the University of Northern Iowa, I was hired at Our Savior to start the preschool. In August of 1998, we opened the doors. God has blessed this ministry in many ways. In 2001, I retired from teaching. For the next 13 years, I volunteered as the Vacation Bible School director and other roles. In 2013, I was hired as the Special Events Coordinator, which is responsible for wedding coordination, funereal luncheons, Vacation Bible School, the children’s Christmas program, and a few other special events that take place throughout the year. In September 2018, I became the Director of Ministry Development, which includes the responsibilities alresdy listed as well as assisting our Senior Pastor and others in developing new ministries here at Our Savior. It is a pleasure to serve Christ in all of these different capacities.

Lisa Piotter

Preschool Director

Bio

Keith and I have been married for 30 years this year, most of that time has been spent in Bettendorf. We have been blessed with four children and two grandchildren. Andrew and Trisha have been married for 5 years and have two children, Harper and Cameron. Katie and James have been married for 2 years and have a puppy, Libby. Bethany is completing her degree from the Univeristy of Northern Iowa and Benjamin is a freshman at Iowa State University. I received my early childhood degree from Southeast Missouri State University and have been working with children most of my life, which includes preschool, kindergarten, and first grade. It is a joy and a blessing to be a part of this ministry and sharing Jesus’ love with our preschool children and their families.

Erin Onions

Business Manager

Bio

Erin received her B.A. in Accounting from the University of Iowa in 1997 and passed her CPA exam in 1999. Her most recent position was with Deloitte & Touche where she worked until September 2006 when she left to raise her family. Erin and her husband, William, have four children, live in Bettendorf, and are members of OSLC.
